To moderator: I hope it is OK to split the conclusion and the vote as two posts, to make things more clear.
EDIT (a few seconds after post): added "(my previous post)".

To point out: "Administration via website for ..." means administration via any web interface, including SF.net.

If those are all external links, we will have a very fragmented, non-uniform website. For some of those, we should create our own pages for it (eg: we should have our own download page which is very clean and hotlinks to the latest zip/rar/exe/... directly instead of the usually crowded SF.net download page)zuu wrote:The Website should have:

Answer: Yes
If you think SF.net is difficult to navigate, then it might be worth considering to do something similar as for news using the RSS feed for released files which is avilable. Also I agree that to much external links, especially in the top level menu will give a defragmented feal of the website.PJayTycy wrote:If those are all external links, we will have a very fragmented, non-uniform website. However noone have said that all links have to bee on the toplevel menu. Some might better fit in the text at some of the subpages. For example the link to devlopers lit could fit at the about page (not the planed about section on index page).
