You should vote on the person you mostly like to see as a DD writer.
The two with the highest score will be elected as DD writers.
You should not look on the results before voting.
You might want to read each candidates posts about the DD from the DD writer thread in the general forum:

jfs wrote:Maybe we should also consider how long the DD will be. How many pages do people think it will become?
I think it will be at least 20 pages.
Hellfire wrote:In response to Hyronymus' question: I'm willing to work on the DD, but note that school always comes first. Actually, I want to work on it, but let's just say that I've had a reality shift.
About the size: I think somewhere between 20 and 150 pages is reasonable. The exact number of pages is not that important. What's on them is more important.
Also, having a first rough version in May or June is possible, but it should (must) be finalized before September.

Hyronymus wrote:How about you Hellfire, uzurpator, jpl? Just show us your position, two people out of 16 replying isn't good feedback imo.
uzurpator and jpl replied they were candidates, without that much time.
I guess I'm in the same position. I leave tomorrow for 10 days on holiday. After that, I'll have some time to work on it.
As a side note, Pjaytycy posted that the 24 March 2005.

I'll help as much as i can, but i do have some other things to work on (one for TEmpire as well).
uzurpator wrote:I'm intrested. But I'm rather short on time :/
uzurpator wrote:150+ pages. probably more.
EDIT: Please post your comments in the original DD writer thread.

And we're 1 week further again. If even picking DD writer candidates takes 2 weeks we should perhaps ask if 16 developers are enough or if 2 writers are enough.
Yes, but now we have enough votes to be recast that the result could theoretically change. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing from the database who cast those votes, and I would think it unfair to ask who voted which way. Plus, we can take this chance to make sure that those people who are offering themselves for the role still want to do this.
And what's next, a 3rd poll to double-double check if they still feel for writing the DD [/sarcasm]? I suggest someone creates poll #2 very quickly before anyone starts having doubts.
