It works with xpdf throught.ChrisCF wrote:Nice PDF. Shame it seems to be broken though. Well, either the PDF is broken, or ggv is, and I've somewhat more confidence in ggv.
Note: xpdf and PDF viewers that use xpdf have had some bug fixes recently for buffer overflows. But if you get the news leter of your distrubution (and download fixes) or run regular updates that should't be your case.

I'm terribly sorry but I can't make it to tonights meeting. I have unplanned business to do tonight which I only learned about this morning. I don't want my absence to result in a delay, that's why I want you to make decisions 'as usual' tonight (and I promise I won't oppose decisions I don't like).
If you allow me I would like to recommend ChrisCF, Hellfire or Zuu (in alphabetical order) as chairman for tonight. I think either one of these three will be able to guide the meeting to a good end (too). Again sorry for by absence but there's not something I can do about it.

Well, you have been our chairman since the meeting you joined halfway, and we hadn't choosen a chirman, or was it minutes maker, at all. So I think it is fair. Even if it would have been nicer if you would have been with ous to night.
I think ChrisCF or Hellfire would fit the better in the chair, becuse my not so good working internet connection.

Here are the logs. Steve has already completed the minutes, but the forum didn't work last night.

Good to see Hellfire bossed around too (can I object to 'Now I know why Hyr likes to boss people around' in the minutes? ). Still much to decide though but I think it's only fair to take enough time to deal with the FRD. I can't be at next meeting either but that was something I knew a long time ago already. I'm gonna have a look at the discussion topic now.
They look a bit short to me, but i'm not sure what i missed. All the decisions are there. A LOT of the time was wasted with random discussions that didn't decide on anything

I just looked at them and they look okay to me. I haven't read them thoroughly, but they'll probably be complete.Steve wrote:They look a bit short to me, but i'm not sure what i missed.
Don't worry about the length. I also noticed that meetings are ridiculously long, with really little real decisions in them.
We should opt to keep meetings as short as possible and to keep discussions to a minimum. We have the forums for that.

Everyone should do his outmost best to stay on topic and notice themselves when they turn off topic. This would avoid long meetings. I also have the feeling that if people take some time to read the summaries/topics before the meeting the whole discussion will be more fluid. That's not something that can be enforced upon meeting attendants but I hope everyone can see for themselves how the meetings would benefit from it. On a sidenote: how's the IRC meeting script coming, jfs?
