Code: Select all

checking for main in -lboost_thread... no
configure: error: Boost_thread not found, install Boost_thread first.
I have every boost devel package on fedora installed (there's only two of them, boost-devel and boost-static-devel).
Are you sure you have the package libboost-thread and libboost-thread-dev?

Meh, those packages don't exist on Fedora. I'll ask around on freenode.

I have taken a quick peek in your log file. But am not sure what might have caused the segfault. I'll try and resolve this the coming week.

Ucho would you be so kind to upload the output ./configure gave you? (Just run it again if you want to capture the output)

I have updated the the linux support on trunk.

As Revision 141 you are able to compile Transport Empire in Linux using CMake.

Due to recent engine changes a part of the port had to be redone.
I have got Transport Empire running but It currently isn't showing anything but a black screen.
If you manage to get an image, please reply to this topic along with the version of Ogre you are using.

To build Transport Empire please view README.linux

Nuke:

Considering how ancient is the version in the svn (like beginning of december i believe) I'm not surprised. I'll take the source from work and upload it to svn tomorrow.

Could you join IRC for a few?

Anyway you might find a few conflicts. Do a dryrun before svn up.

plugins.cfg is now generated by main.cpp when it does not exist.

You should really try to keep svn current. You only risk losing your changes (data loss _does_ happen).

The current source (r152) is compilable with linux. At the moment though I'm getting a segfault we're backtracing the problem and hopefully I can put up some screens soon.

The not working of the OpenGL is known, but your output might even provide some hints towards the cause of the bug.

Thank you for uploading your log.

What about transport_empire_4 directory?
how to deal with te2/, te3/ and transport_empire_4/ directories? Are they part of a whole project?

The only directory you should be bothered is transport_empire_4. te2 and te3 are depreciated
