TTD+TTDPatch on Linux (Wine) experiences

Hi,

I've tried the latest version of TTDPatch on Linux (Debian), using Wine.
The good news: it works!
The bad news: it doesn't work like a charm.
- TTConfig doesn't seem to work (err:win32:_EnterSysLevel (0x409b3a20, level
2): Holding 0x40ad3060, level 3. Expect deadlock!). I might write an
alternative version of TTConfig (in C) to change TTD's registry settings.
But if someone has already written an alternative (not bloated!) version of
TTConfig, I'd like to check if it works with Wine.

- MIDI must be disabled in the Wine 'registry' (manually, not too
difficult).
- Thus MIDI audio doesn't work (not a big issue)
- It's dead slow (Athlon 1000). Maybe I should tweak some settings in the
config file.

Please post your experiences with TTD(Patch) + Linux. And your TTDPatch
config file if it runs fast on your system.
