any advice to get a PCI Soundcard to work in TTDX??????????? ( Soundblaster
64vPCI)

Unless you are running the game under Windows, you will never have sound
in any Dos program - none of the PCI type soundcards have Dos support at
all anymore. The last soundcard that has Dos support is the AWE64 ISA
card.

Creative Labs has basicly dropped support for Dos operations for all the
new products.
