[REQ] Ultimate Track Package

Hey everyone,

Apologies if this seems spammy... I've used the search but can't refine to find what I want correctly...

I'm playing via mac, so using the locotool and such is a bit impossible (at times, though LT_wrapper works great).

I'm looking for a "ultimate track package." Like one do-it-all that MUST HAVE the earth slope, and a variety of decent stations/signals. I'm currently on a piece mealed Provo pack, some package that had goods/freight station platforms... Just wondering if something like this exists.

Lock this up if I totally just need to search better.

Thanks!

I was afraid of this... It's definitely a weird request. I cant really find much of a good overview of what trackst.dat files do what, like it seems there are lots of little mods (one does a few stations, this one does a bridge) but no real "big kahuna." It seems the Provo Utah pack might be the closest one, but the stations aren't as great on that one I'm afraid. I just see the screenies of some peoples layouts and really want to make mine look pretty... Locomotion is my "basement model train layout" :D

Everyone has their preferences; my favorite is usually most of station packs 1-4 with the freight platform from the Provo pack and the walkways from the German forum. Even so, I have multiple Objdata folders labeled accordingly which I switch out based on what I'm going for.

Your best bet is probably to get access to a computer that runs Locotool without putting up a fight, because even if I could give you my copy of trackst.dat, the files it calls for are definitely not mine to distribute.

Thanks for the response, Zakos. Unfortunate that I'm stuck here without PC access... But I managed to edit the .dat using TextEdit and a lot of trial and error... got close to what I'm looking for. Now on to making some scenario to run all sorts of trains
