Hello, I am making sounds for Locomotion and am open to helping any developers who want custom sounds. I am trying to make sounds and any soundfiles with bitrates of 44100hz play the sound too low. Who knows what the problem of this is? Please help, I can make sounds for any rolling stock developers.

Re: Making Sounds
Hi,
My best results I have with 11025 Hz, Mono, 32-bit float.
For this I use mostly stereo files which I then convert to mono files. If the file previously had 44000 Hz I change that too. The sound file should be only 1-2 seconds. Everything else is just unnecessary ballast.
Btw. robinH and I'm working with the Freeware tool Audacity. http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/
