Mods not working

Hi I am having trouble with some mods I have tried getting the gantries narrow gauge & other types of track working in the advanced side of the set up I tick them but they don't show up in he game am I doing something wrong thank you

What mods do you have trouble?

Rule of thumb:
As long as no vehicle is available with the characteristics you will also not have access to the tracks and/or gantrie have.
Check when the design year of your vehicle is. Your scenario should start only after that.
