I use the Loco Viewer from digidampfman

http://www.wisim-welt.de/filebase/index ... ce-Teil-1/

For viewing files it is the fastest and easiest way

Thank you Walter1940. It doesn't have every angle of the vehicle and the animation button doesn't work, but it's OK.
On an Unrelated Note, The New Model For The 767 and A300 (Which are the same model) Are Ready for Use, but are not quite complete.
So, if something (besides takeoff) looks off, tell me. And the shadows, which I have fixed, but will not release until the next update.

The mod, as I first envisioned it, is dead. My hard drive has been wiped, and most progress I made during that time is gone. So... you can go home now. It's over. I still have a map of Japan and Manchuria I am working on, but otherwise, this is the end of the line for the mod.

Too bad. But I had the same problems last year. This is extremely annoying.

s***, and here I am reading this thread through thinking "this looks really cool, wonder if it's gotten anywhere so far". Sad times.

Don't fret, I'm still working on a few things, even a fully-fledged map of Japan and Manchuria. So don't think I've stopped working on new ideas for Locomotion just because the mod is dead. I might even work on it at a later date, or even reinvent it. So, maybe the mod is dead, but maybe it will return. Just keep on waiting and you may see some new content.

LOL :P ..... Since I have the permission of AeroSim I build on locomotives from Japan. 8) Maybe that's what for your map of Japan!?

I'm looking for something that fits Locomotion's current art style, and if you can manage a look similar to that, I'll be all for packaging the locomotives with the map I've created.

What do you think about? Do you have any ideas?

If you look at Locomotion's art style, it's very minimalistic compared to what people besides me are making, or at least attempting to make. Two colours, detail doesn't get in the way of the primary and secondary company colours, and, for the most part, it tries to stay clear and concise when it comes to design. Think AV8 from OpenTTD when you think of the designs of all the vehicles. Very simplistic compared to what Locomotion modders are posting, but each vehicle is still identifiable as said vehicle, and look nice for what they're worth.

Hi. I just grabbed locomotion off steam.

I downloaded this mod, and copied the objects/scenario folders into steamapps/common/locomotion directory.

I was prompted to overwrite 5 files.

All seemed well, the new scenarios were present. I tried to load the beginner scenario with a random map and it hung at "generating terrain".

Any suggestions please?

Yeah, hate to break it to you, the mod is dead for the time being. Not forever, just until I regain the motivation to continue working on it.

Well, hold onto that thought. I know that this is a dig, but I'm working on seeing if I can decrease the value of all the vehicles that you made for the 19th century, so that the game would be actually playable. (no offense, i'm asking for permission first)
For the time being, i'd recommend Walter1940's Rocket model when it comes to these scenarios. It's super cheap and lasts forever! :D

Yeah, I was actually planning on downloading the scenarios just to use the early steamers in DJC's British steam pack.

How would I get the RCT Loco to have a blue backround? I think that is why it is not creating the .dat....

He made the backgrounds blue, and it didn't work one bit. :(

Use a professional software like Paint.net and save the file on 8bit png pallete. 24 and 32 bits it will give errors.

In the RCT file provided the sprite images are black, unless he converted them to blue like Manuel said and tried again.

So changing it to 8-bit makes it blue? I'll try it.
[EDIT]: Paint.net kept hanging at the installer. Could anyone convert them for me?

I'd just use Wally. I'd love to see this happen, maybe we could convert the English coaches for early-era coaches in the 1830's.
I'm going to have to put that on hold for me, as i'm working on some Mail Cars.
Godspeed.
(BTW Manuel18, all the download links on your site (http://hst-locomotionmods.blogspot.com/) lead to viruses. Could you please re-upload the files? (As well as your other stuff that isn't on there like your ACS-64.))
