[REL] Steel Bridge

Here's a new bridge I made. I call it Steel Bridge. I think of it being made of steel beams. I used company colors for the platforms and black/grey for the pillars. I also used the scaffolds you see when a building is being constructed for the pillars. I wanted to use the secondary colors for the pillars but they didn't work and I didn't like them the same color as the bridge so I went black/grey. I used the Flyover bridge as a template to make this but changed the base cost to match the brick bridge to make it cheaper to build.

Max Speed = 300
Max Height = 10
Basecost = 32
Heightcost = 16

Ramps made for rails and roads. No short curve ramps. I didn't like the way the curved slopes looked so I didn't do them. I did make the slope for the roads to work with this bridge.

Please do not edit this bridge and release it as something else.

Well, from them not changing colors, I guess the secondary colors don't work on bridges. I was wondering if I had to do something to get them to work.

I would be tempted to make the bottom of those bridges black/grey myself - more realistic. sadly it does look like you can only use one colour, but well done, it does look brilliant though

Please don't bump your own posts. People will post in their own time, and doing this doesn't help your cause. Remember not everyone reads the forums everyday.

I'm off to bang my head against a brick wall having spent half the afternoon clearing up the mess in these forums. :twisted:

It really wasn't a problem per say. I thought it was but I guess the secondary colors just don't work on bridges. So I changed the colors to black/grey because I didn't like the pillars the same color as the platforms..

That's understandable, though Tattoo stopped posting several years ago unfortunately. In the future keep in mind that we generally frown upon bumps that don't offer any new information. Enthusiasm is welcome though :mrgreen:

Well I'd stop doing it now if I was you, as it will lead to forum warning if you persist.
