okay; I know its a long shot (About as long as Paris Hilton getting a brain cell); but also, because its not British... the bigboy 4*8*8*4; I cant remember where I saw it, but its looks like you have the skill to create one, and even in the greenish colors of UK ;)

BlenderUser, there are locomotives similar to the big boy in britain, and they are the Garrets, similar in the way that they are articulated but the have a large water tank at the front and a large tender at the back

I think Plastik already tried to make a Big Boy and concluded its too big to work in Loco. Anyways I'm sticking to British trains for now.

Nice work, DJC.

It almost convinces me to get back into LoMo. Almost...but you never know.

These steamers look fantastic DJC, keep up the fantastic work.

I can't think of a locomotive you havn't done worth being in locomotion.
But if I could make a request, I would pick...

Stanier 8F 2-8-0 and perhaps an LNER P2 4-8-2 class.

Thanks, those two are definately planned for the future. I think I will go in the LNER/LMS direction next.

Thanks DJC

I did a quick hit-up of that website. I looked at "The Wath Banker" and lol'd because my mind switched the starting letters...

Noofnoof, I thought that too when I saw the garratt.

Also, the B17 class got streamlined, never knew that.
So too did the 'Hush Hush' and P2 2-8-2 mikado's.
Gresley turned Streamline-aholic!

Hey everyone, sorry it's all been quiet on here for a while, but I should soon be releasing everything I've posted screen shots of so far. This will probably be the last release from me, as I'm beginning to lose interest in Locomotion and real life will be getting very busy with me starting my 3rd year of Uni a week or so.

Here's a few more things that will be coming your way, first a few remakes of locos that I wasn't happy with, then some new Midland Region stuff.

Those all look good. I have a question for ya about these. How did you make the rods move? I have a few steam engines that I want to do but can't find out how to do it. I searched here and read a spit load for around 2 hours or more and nowhere here does anyone say how to do it. Thanks...

I use a program called shape viewer, which can be found here: http://msts.steam4me.net/utilities/shape_viewer.html

This is the program that MSTS2Loco is based on, except unlike MSTS2Loco it can do screenshots of the amination frames of a locomotive. From what I remember I used trial and error to get the camera positons required for locomotion, which wasn't easy. You might want to talk to Plastikman if he's still around, from what he told me he has his own script to generate the sprites for his trains.

One final addition, going right back to the first locomotive I ever made...a J94/Industrial saddle tank in company colours. I figured it would be good for anyone trying to re-create an industrial scene or even a preserved railway in the game.

Now - that is one cute saddle tank! :)

I like to try to build short industrial railways so that would be cool.

EDIT: Sorry if I offended anyone that read what I first wrote. What I think doesn't matter and I should keep my thoughts to myself. That's actually not a bad idea and I'm going to try that.
