I'm planning on doing some earlier locos and carriges too, including the famous 'City of Truro', as the game is a bit lacking in that department. Also planning to do engines from other companies too, I just started with GWR as Chris Sawyer didn't do any of their locomotives for the game. Any suggestions/requests would be welcome, I'll see what I can do. :)

sorry mate walter beat you to it

Yeah I saw he had done some UK locos, not bad either. But I'll still do my own version, City of Truro is one of my favourite engines. You guys shouldn't really be criticizing when someone spends their own time making free add-ons for the game. Plus I don't see you not doing any better.

@Andy - Sure I don't mind helping. Sounds like your x and y offsets or the 'bogeypos' value in the xml aren't right. Show us a screenshot of the problem.

Oh yeah, and the problem I had earlier has been solved, my Dean Goods is now happily chuffing away.
If you get the chance could you do a Q1 or a Schools class as part of any British steam pack? as both classes are noteworthy in their own right, as regards Walter the Rememberance class he has done is quite good the sound is a digitised steam locomotive track supplied by RobinH and converted to a dat, not sure what it is mind it sounds like more like conjugated valve gear rather than Stephenson's link motion

Wow, nice model! :D

Well that'll be fun. We can build whole production runs of them and have them pulling ECML expresses in 2009!

May the force be with you.
For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.

"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

I was not planing on releasing one I sent the sprites to DJC to see if he can use them. I have several more br steamer sprites. I wanted to see djc's answer on scale. British msts and us msts never match scAle wise.

If you wish to have the mogul and the coaches I did a while back your welcome to them, permission wasn't obtained so if your wanting to release them then you'll need to get said permission. Currently I have no desire to do anything locomotion related so your free to have them.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been working on this. Got pretty much all the bases covered with GWR Steam locos I think, just need to put the finishing touches on these and they'll be ready. I'm going to work on some carriges and maybe a few wagons to go with them.

Those could even get me to use some of the Great Way Round stock now.....
