I'd just like to point out that the one sided platforms that a lot of people show in images for american and european railroads are not actually platforms, but signals. I did however, find a one sided British Platform on Locomotion Fanpage.

Please, make sense, use the "reply" instead of "New Thread" button if replying to an existing post, and for Pete's sake, check the date of the last post. Bumping really old threads (as you've already done) is really frowned on, and will only get you warnings.
