A serious question, then...

How are the wake graphics done? Are they part of the ship graphics (like steam from a locomotive) or are they generated by the game.

Would be cool to have a big, churned tidal wave behind some of the faster ships...

These 2 lines:

Code: Select all

<useobject desc="wakeeffect" class="3">WWAKE1 </useobject>
<useobject desc="startsnd" class="1">SNDA2 </useobject>
The class part is the way how its been drawn, there are a lot of other lines too.

But i didn`t implanted it succesfully yet.

Hmmm... that would lead me to believe that the wakes and similar are all hardcoded into the game. Am I right? :(

Yay!!!

Well anyway I was the 23rd downloader of the beta.
Image I like Articulated Buses or Streetcars (Although I really like anything with wheels including planes, Thanks to Seelenquell for making Toronto's ALRV and CLRV for Locomotion. All we need now is a TTC D40LF and D60LF to go with the LRVs. Plus the Scarborough RT vehicles too.)
Resion for the LRV's is to make a good alternative to buses. Visit Here for more info.

Well, Ulysses goes 22 knots and produces 22,500kw to do so, so something along those lines for speed? Given she's such a large ship, we should be going for full loads rather than high speed.
