well..

we already know that thing will be getting "Bolty Noses" right away, so that design will fail.

also, isn't there a new corner post protection requirement for the cabs?

I do remember that some new crash worthiness requirement meant that GE had to change which side the cab door was on the nose of the ES44's in order to comply

Is it me or is it impossible for the Americans to build good looking trains? Most of the time these things are only boxes on wheels and an engine.

lol i was watching a video on English freight trains the other day, and was thinking the same thing about their engines lol. But their passenger trains are pretty.

it is our freight engines that are peerty over here, not our passenger locos, but our steam was unrivaled for looks and power (the match that sets the board aflame :shock: )

Indeed, it will set the boards alight.

I reckon our own streamlined NSWGR C38 class is not too shabby looking. Nor is the quaint old Z12. Admittedly, you probably do trump everyone with power, but give me an AD60 Garratt any day :P
And I'm sure that there are plenty of better looking freight locos as well :P

There is also the 250-ton D57 class, introduced in 1929 and way ahead of our time. Probably the Australian equivalent of the Big Boy.

I am considering changing the Amtrak prefix from "US" to "AT".

I was originally going to change it years ago to USA for "US A"mtrak, but Jose took that about the same time.

Anyone have a better idea, like maybe "UA"?

yup. I just turned off the 1.0.3 patch tool.

we are no longer on 1.0.3

as said on of these days ill make a global patcher. for now it is still pack specific.

Patcher for 1.1.0 installs with the megapack now. look in your locomotion folder.

I know that this is a whopping five month bump, but this is still alive as part of the megapack. It should be up for people to see.

Anyways, the OLS F59PHi seems to be gone from the updates page. Could Plastik put it back please?
Also, I think the Talgos and some RS-2s are all that's left in the way of unmodded Amcrap stuff. Go for them!

As far as I know it is but Plastikman is working ridiculous hours at his job, so he is very busy.
