[RELEASE] C-20 / Vagn 2000 (Stockholm Metro)

And here it is. Stockholm's newest subway, the C-20 also known as Vagn 2000.

This one is my personal favorite, its design is perfect, great modern look without being too techy, efficient compared to the older ones with articulators joining each car together so more space for the passengers where there would be doors before, quite quiet inside and rather fast too.

In lomo you will get 3 diffirent versions. emu 2's 3's and 4's. Ok, in real life you only have emu 3's but for gameplay reasons both 2's and 4's were added. If you wish to stay as close as possible to reality, just uncheck them when u do ur map editing.

here is what it will look like in game:

here is what it looks like for real:
(picture a bit big so i will post the link to it rather than screw the forum format)

here is how it looks like in action. Quick movie from me at that station this summer. (link might get removed after a while. dont wanna blow my bandwith) right-click save-as is a good idea too.
37megs, low quality from a digital cam thats better at taking pictures than recording :)

this is my 3d model from wich its been taken to make the lomo sprites. Exterior and interior.
Warning, work in progress, you will see imperfections :) however nothing lomo can handle so you dont see those in game.

And finally, what you really came for: (original installer unavailable, rar file should do it good anyway. You know where to unrar this of course, have fun!)
http://www.oricom.ca/dpearson/svc20.rar
(and in case you didnt know, its in your locomotion/objdata) :-)
edit: http://www.oricom.ca/dpearson/svc20.exe
thx to alien for the installer again.
Both files available, installer = user friendly. rar = small.

A great thanks to Illegal_Alien for doing the conversion to lomo and doing this nice installer and for hosting the file and, and and... :-).

Since this is my first model in lomo (and my first 3d model for that matter). Suggestions, comments, anything else, are greatly appreciated!!

COOL!! It's in times like these I really wish I hadn't switched from Windows to Mac... but I still have my old Windows, so I'm fine! Looks really nice. Great work!

Oh, by the way, what specs did you make for the cars? Real as the same, or what?

I played it, and It´s the (what I think) real specs.
It´s the stats I posted in my request

Indeed as IA said, all the real stats. Some research was done along with the info CD gave. I especially insisted on realism here (one of the reasons I asked about the emu configuration on the other thread).

Glad ya'll like it!! Myself I will most defenatly fireup a new full campaign for it, might as well make one of my friend reinstall it for some multiplayer action :).

These C-20 railcars are really nice. Congratulations and thanks for your hard work. Hopefully we'll get some more subway/metro cars soon.

Yeah. This is truly some good stuff he did. The best thing is that they look just like the real trains running around here in Stockholm

This'll teach me to look at things at 2am! Seems the OP updated his files about a year ago and the links still work fine.
My bad
