[REQ] Tracks without ties

Post by Train-a-Mania »

Could (or has) anyone made railroad tracks without a roadbed and ties? It would be just rails.

Like these (minus the road). Basically, just rails.

Open the trackst.dat with Locotool, i think you then see what i mean :) Save it as something else, then just rebuild one train to use it. ;) (I was working on a HighSpeedTrack)

Okay, I found the folder. Do I need to rename the files? Also, how do I save them?

Yip, just edit them with wally or something and load the palette from the picture and make the non-rail tiles the blue for transparency. I would show you an example but i have neither wally or loco installed atm.

Wouldn't it just be easier remove the non-rail tiles, and remove their refrences from the xml? :o

It would work fine and does work fine because this does exist already.

There was no point to add a tidbit of usless information to a thread that has been dead for over 2 years.
