Take your pick
Perhaps the different 747 & 737 versions. But you can pick any aircraft you want.
Preferably .max, but anything 3dsmax understands works well.
They don't have to be immensly accurate, I could send you one to show what's enough for loco. Fuselage = 6 segment cylinder, wings = 2x2 segment boxes, etc.

Hopefully while importing .dxf, the planes won't flip, as that's happened with a couple of free models I've tried to import. By flipped I mean that the visible planes would be in the inside of a box or cylinder. Which means that the outside wouldn't be visible, but the inside would.RPharazon wrote:Can you accept them in .dxf format?
If so, I'll get right on it. I've got a week or so of vacations coming up.
Perhaps you do one model (shouldn't take more than 2-4h) and I test it if it's compatible?
Nah, don't worry about the flipping.
Oh yes, you'll also have to do the colors, sorry about that, but the program I'm using makes the actual model-making extremely easy, but it doesn't really have color tools.
Edit: Done already!
Wow!
Here enclosed is the zip file with the .dxf-formatted model.
Sorry there are holes in the fuselage at some points, and that it's slightly tallish, but I'm sure with your program you can paint and patch.

Imagination! Here, you learn what it is to be human. You are a creator of order, of beautiful shapes and systems, an organizer of chaos.

No, it has just taken an extensive vacation
I'm more interested in Simcity4/Civ4 atm, but if anyone wants, I can give the templates I have to make more planes. It's fairly simple, as I've automated most of the tasks by scripts. You only need 3dsmax (5 or newer) & Paintshop Pro (5 or newer).
If someone is interested, I can get you started, it's really not hard. It was when I began, but I managed to make everything quite simple.

Nope. I'm the only one who's done aircraft for loco, except for these two by Johns Volition:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/peksoft/lomo/vehic ... esis2.html
http://koti.mbnet.fi/peksoft/lomo/vehic ... esis4.html
And I doubt I'll be making more.
