People are often asking about how to do a particular task and some people have discovered how to do it from trial and error. To prevent continuous, repetitive questions, the Wiki was created to store information.

If you need help, have a look at one of the many pages and you may find the information you need.

If you know something that isn't listed, please sign up and add it, so other people can benefit from it, to help make a better set of objects for the community.

You can find it here:
http://wiki.locomotiondepot.net/
Whilst the wiki is moderated, the Locomotion Depot admins can not be held responsible for any inappropiate material. If you find such material, please remove it.

i'm searching the variable for the turnaround of the train at the end of the track..

the train should turn but now it drives to the end and then drives backwards.

From memory, it's one of the bit variables (Bit_1 ?), but I'll try and check tonight, so I should have an answer for tomorrow. I know that whatever it is, it's set for steamers, but not for most diesels. In fact, if you've got them to hand, decompile the dats for either of the DM units from the London Underground pack I did, as they definitely had it set.

HTH

I hate to mess up the wiki thread.

yes it is bit_1, set that to "0" on all your train cars. if a car has that flag as "1" it will force that car to the end of your train AND it becomes the first car when the train reverses.

if you are trying to make a dual headed train with a matching engine at each side, it is the "dualhead" flag.

Bit_0 controls if the car behind it turns around (faces foward or reverses)when added to a train. (that is what is set on steamers.)

edit: if all cars are powerd, i think it drives in reverse on the round trip anyways. not sure how to fix that other then making it a EMU/DMU or putting a dummy car in the train.

It's on my to-do list. I just have no idea what I need to do to fix it.
I think there was a recent php update or something that broke some other stuff, and apparently the wiki too.

Yes, the wiki is held on that site in the downloads section as some PDFs. My coursework has ended giving me hours more free time a day. The wiki is on my todo list, so it will get fixed soon. Along with a few other broken things on my website...
