Hey! Do you like TTD? I think it´s amazing. Maybe an old game but one of the best old games.
Thanks,
Adam Reece.

Encore
TTD is so good i cant believe the author hasn´t been back to give us a second rendition - especially when you think of the gfx and processor power advancements the pc has seen. The trouble is - Chris Sawyer and only Chris would have to be in full charge for us to get the TTD2 we no doubt are dreaming of. I know it will happen, its just when and to what level he takes it before parking it again for another 10 years. lol

Without TTPatch, a 4. With TTPatch, a 5+ TTPatch has everything that annoyed me with the original version. Except... Bridges over bridges, cargo to a specific destination and stupid drivers (locomotives and cars).
I think it is one of the games I have played most.
There are a few games that I have spent most of my playing time on:
- RailRoadTycoon (played it on the amiga, and pc)
- Civ (played it on the amiga, and later on, pc)
- TT(dlx)+patch (played it since TTorg was released)
- Diablo2(Lod) (played it constantly for two years now)
Theese games can be played for ages.
There are maybe games that have a better playbility, but they tend not to last too long. Games like Command&Conquer (maybe one of the greatest realtime-strategy games), Quake, UT and such is fun multiplaying, but they tend to be boring when played to much IMHO. The games mentioned above can be played for ages.
