Feeders

No I don't get it - I have read on this website about 'feeders' but I can't get them to work -

1. I have put a bus stop next to a rail station and instructed a but to unload passengers at it - but it makes no difference to the number of passengers waiting

2. I have tried to move goods to lorry stations next to rail stations - and they won't accept the goods because they are not next to the industry.

What am I doing wrong?

More info would be helpful, usually under the 'Orders-Unload' window, you'll have a choice of:
1) Unload if accepted
2) Unload all
3) Transfer
4) No unloading

You need to choose option 3, which is to transfer. Then go to the 'Orders-Load' window and choose Option 4 -- No loading.

So that your orders would read --> Great Laughinghead (Transfer and no loading)

That is just too bad. Download the latest version I guess.

Two5Kid: Pay attention to where you're posting. The latest version of Transport Tycoon has only "Load" and "Unload".

What am I doing wrong?

Oops didn't know that his thread was in TTD. Silly me. Open TTD would have more load choices.
