hi,
can anyone tell me what the goal/objective/point of the original scenarios is.
is it just to make money by a certain year, if so, then by which year. etc

i have been trying to find this online for a while but there is soooo much TTD content to go throught, i have not been suessful yet, maybe someone can point me in the right direction

To be "Tycoon" (1000 points) in year 2050 maybe!

were can we get the original scenarios and saves that came with ttd when it was first released?

They're on your TTD CD, of course.

TTD didn't have targets or victory conditions in its scenarios, as did other games, such as RRT2, etc. Different game concept. If you look on Owens site, the Repository has "themed" scenarios; ie, link all the coal, or oil, etc. And there are some OpenTT multiplayer servers, where you have to succeed within 10 years, or whatever.

could the original scenarios that came with the game be posted on the sight or included in open ttd? I would use my disk but its like 16yr old and all scratched up.

They might already be on here, (or perhaps some of them). In any event, there are some others, user-written, which I'd say are just as good....
If I were thee, I'd search for 'TTD scenarios', and see takes your fancy.
