do i need the cd

I downloaded the deluxe version and When i installed and fixed the no registery error and tryed starting it again it asks me tells me i need the disck is this true? oh and i have tryed uninstalling and installing again it deos not work

it says i have to put the win2k file on but it is on in my configuration

Besides the win2k setting there are two other things mentioned in that FAQ, have you tried those two too ?

yes i changed th cd path and downloaded the newer patch but the patch cant find the file gamegfx.exe.

You better try this little batchfile, it will download and install TTD and the patch for you.
