Phoenix, AZ

Post by Loconoob »

I'm back after At least a month of work on this. The landscaping, coloring, trees, etc. were the easy part. The hard part was mapping the entire valley road for road by hand. Using online maps (Google and Bing), I placed each city's midpoint exactly where it is in real life. For those of you who are curious as to how I did that, I loaded the map onto Paint and copied from a map putting pure white dots where each was to be built. When opened in Scenario editor, the dots were 576 ft. 1x1 columns, making it easy to place the towns. I tried to make the highway junctions and overpasses as realistic as possible for Lomo, but most of the on/off-ramps will need to be added on when you play. This is the desert but the valley is plenty watered and packed with blocks and blocks of alfalfa, cotton, and corn. Have fun and I encourage and/or ask that you send screenies of your game play on it.

...Ohh yeah, if it is an open area that says AIR, then that is the location to one of many major airports and airbases.

Just fold at the dotted line and cut it out with a pair of scissors. If you are under the age of 16 please ask one of your parents or an adult supervisor if she/he can help you.

Holy cow that's amazing! You have excellently captured Phoenix and the satellite (maybe not anymore) cities, which is no small feat.

My only question is, are there any industries?
