First Attempt

Post by uktrackbuilder_loco »

Finally decided to put my money where my over sized mouth is, this is a landcsape only with a read me file stating what is on/in the landscape
The landscape is set by default to America no snow
The only industry selected is coal mines
the only building selected is company headquarters
two roads have been selected as has been one level crossing
those were chosen in order to be able to save the landscape

It does have one surprise for anyone who uses it but you'll find it out when you do, I'll post some screen shots as well

and before I forget and Andel tells me off
Extract to
C Drive or drive of choice
Program Files
Atari
Scernario
Landscapes

Hi.

You may want to use "another" compression program... Not everybody has or has heard of WINACE, which is what.ace files are. (It's a sort of Winzip  ).

WINACE has a free evaluation period. Download from the net....(http://www.winace.com/)

I am making up a scenario using this landscape.....it is a little surprising!

thanks I noticed that winace will unzip Rar files but offers no option of creating a rar file zip so I'm off myself to find a program that does

Here is my Scenario, using the above landscape.

NO MODS required.

Uses Default UK vehicles and buildings, also a good selection of industries.

(Please note, the default early ship (Clipper) does NOT carry coal! )

I have set the "goal" at my standard of 100% rating. Feel free to select your own preferences! :D

No AI Competition. High loans and Low Interest rate.

"Interesting" is the word for this landscape! (No, I'm not giving anything away! )

EDIT 1. I missed out selecting the first (1900) Tram....so no trams until later in this version.
EDIT 2. I have uploaded a new version (1.1) which includes the 1900 tram. The Version 1.0 has been removed.

WOOLHAVEN and District V1 1 NO MODS.rar
Version 1.1 (Includes 1900 Tram, missing from V1.0)

Rar File.

Un Rar (Extract) and either put in Scenarios folder manually, or DOUBLE CLICK on the .sc5 file you get after extraction. (This will install scenario, or at least it SHOULD!)

How can I put it when I first used it in a game it surprised even me! And I created it. I soon found out that you had to make a very very hard and fast choice
