Mod Problems

Post by locofreak17 »

This is gonna sound really really stupid, but how do you get mods files into the game? Do I just move the files to the CD? It's my first time doing this.

As Chevyrider mentioned....
  • Look for /locomotion/ObjData folder on your main drive.
  • Place modded files into this folder. (make a backup copy of the folder first)
  • Start Locomotion and find the new/changed mod in advanced section of the Scenario Editor.
Scenario Editor /Mods - Some mods do not require selecting from here as they change the default attributes of an item.

I would also add be careful when using any modded files that are based around an industry, as if you have saved games they may then not work and you can in some case's also get "The Looping Train of Death" effect where Lomo will not load.
