Problems with Signals

Post by locofreak17 »

I'm a noob to the game but am already addicted to this game like crazy. I'm having a lot of trouble with signals. I think I'm doing right but for some stupid reason, signals aren't changing at the right time, which of course stops trains and turn around after a while. They wait and wait and wait and the signal never changes. I've got the pic of my layout and hopefully, someone out there can give me an answer to this problem. By the way, the line running north south is not connected, and the line running east west runs in a loop, so it'll only be going one way (obviously  ) Thanks.

You appear to be missing the signal on the right hand track. On a junction like that you need to have a signal on all four parts of the crossing as both tracks intersect. the game thinks that an un-signalled section is in use so stops the trains from passing the other signals.

There is a good signal tutorial on here which would be worth a read. Use the search at the top and it should be easily found.
