Difference beetwen rough road and road

What's the difference beetwen rough road, road and one way road except of costs od course.
Just wondering, cause rough roads are cheaper and they are ok i think...
So?

Well the big difference between the rough roads and the normal roads is mostly the speed of the vehicles (except for trams because they drive on rails) but busses and trucks drive slower because rough roads are basicly sand roads wich makes vehicles slower just like in real life...The one way is for only vehicles in one direction and the normal road is just uuhmmm normal...

Those are just the basic differences between the roads...

I didnt notice the speed difference. Trucks are driving their max speed of 40 km/h on both roads.

You'll notice later with the 50mph trucks.

Empty they will floor it.
Full, they will do 30mph.

With rough road you can't make a wide curve. It only does the little sharp curve.

The default dirt road does have a much lower top speed then the asphault one.

Other differances are the turn radius and the ability to have street lights. Not to mention the cost possibly the year available? I didnt look to see if asphault is available in 1900

Normal roads are found in towns citys etc
but rougth are only found in hamlets (small Village) Villlages And new towns
Towns are towns whan the pop reaches 500
