City's are expandig very quicly. Normal?

Post by kakelars »

I have notice something, i have only come to 1940(starting at 1925) and i already have 3 city's over 20.000 in population. Is that right? How will it be in 60 years? A whole world of city's grown toghether?

I new to this forum, so be kind if it's a stupid question :)

Hey mate,
welcome...
Do you have a tram or bus network in those aforementioned towns? If so, they will expand rapidly, that's the nature of the beast. 60 years later, probably a fair bit larger than they are now!
Enjoy it.

The cities can get very big in Locomotion, bigger than Transport Tycoon, and grow without much effort. Take a look around the forum for further info.

Yeah its normal, especially if you have a tram or bus route within it. Bringing passengers in to that town from different towns will spprout it even further. I've had towns grow to well over 100,000 in population within like 50 years. :D
