How do i fix this signalling problem?

Post by Davie_UCF »

:D
Hey there!

This is a terminus on a little network i have on a map.
I've tried to signal it how i like but occasionaly trains run across trying to get into the platform when its occupied... How do i get them to stay behind the signal until theres a place for them to go!?

It was possible on TTDX.. so im wondering if I can do it in this situation too!

Cheers for your help!

hi, i ha that problem also, the only solution i found is to build ro-ro station.
actually, it's not a solution, i just had a big (7ways) ro-ro station, so i almost never ran out of free space for arriving train...

The signalling appears to be a bit different in Locomotion and TTDX and it's confusng the heck out of me.

I think that your problem will go away if you move all the signals that are 3 blocks away from your station, and place them all on the end of the platforms. A signal placed on the end of the platform appears to behave slightly differently to one with track eiether side of it.

It may also be that they see the other route as an extra station path. Remove all track leading between them or if you still need them, move them elsewhere.

Wouldn't it work if you just remove the signals in front of the station?
I think I've used this for myself a few times, and it worked.

But then only one platform can be used at once.
