help with locotool and vehicle creator

hello. first sorry for my bad english.

i try to convert a electric unit from msts to locomotion

i create the photos in png with the palette..
set the options in vehicle creator
and save the xml

all works fine.

ecxept when try to create the .dat file. i click save as.dat file but nothing happened. no file was created
try to drag the xml to locotool but the same. no file was created

i use the locotool 0.4.3b and the vehicle creator 8.0
try in windows 7 and windows xp...

i try using locotool 0.3 but shows an error
unknown variable name colourtype
