So, I downloaded quite a lot of ObjData files for Locomotion, but when I try to run the game, the "Checking Object Data Files" check won't finish. It always stops before half-way and gives me a crash error message. I know this is caused by a faulty/corrupt .DAT file, but I don't know which file is causing the problem. Is there some way I can scan all my ObjData files for and faulty/corrupt files?

Is no one going to help me?

Doesn't look like it.

Remove all the dat files, and check the game starts. Now add them back one at a time until you find the one that's causing you problems.

I think with this many, I should do more than one at a time XD

But I did remove all the downloaded .DAT files and the game still works. I guess I'll have to find the broken files myself.

If it is really the file format, and not too many files or files interfering with each other, or combinations of files causing problems, looking for a wrong file can be done with bisection.

Split the files in 2 directories, try one of the directories and then the other directory. If a directory works, all files are good. If it doesn't work, at least one file is bad.
Split a directory with bad files in 2 directories, try one ...

and so on, repeat splitting and trying until you have a directory with 1 bad file, at which point you found (one of) the culprit(s).

Actually, the game should still be able to load about 4000 files. But you can not scroll more than 3000 files in the editor. Perhaps the game already denied to you why even start.
Just try again with the originals and then add 10 new ones and start the game. Then you see how much it stops. Replace the last 10 with others and start again. Should it still not start, you have reached a limit. Otherwise plugged into the replaced 10 files a mistake.

Finally sorted out all the bad files, but I do have over 3000 vehicles so I can't scroll down that list. Plus I have a lot of duplicates :/

Yes, that's what I wrote above. With more than 3000 vehicles the list can not be scrolled in the editor.

Download this tool. So you can look at what's in the file and thus sort out duplicates.

Also read the attached help file. It takes time. But then you only have the "right" files.

I'm trying the tool out, but every time I try to open it up, it gives me an error message and just closes down. Also, it's not in English, so I can't understand what it's saying.
