Greetings, maybe some of you already know, Locomotion has been re-released on Steam a few days ago (pretty overdue )
Well to my problem, the Steam Version is really buggy on start up, the colors are going nuts, first the start up screen is all black and white and then the gaming screen is just a whole pixel mash.
Yes, I tried everything to change the Compatibility modes but it didn't help.
I still have old Locomotion game files which I downloaded from the Atari Store months ago, curiously they still work, but the Steam version files are "reduced" to a minimum , also the Locomotion.exe looks different
I could play the "old" Locomotion without a problem, I had to tweak some Compatibility settings there though.

Can't you transfer some of the files to the steam version?
Re: Locomotion Steam Version is pretty buggy
I would do just that, starting with all 5 subfolders.

Re: Locomotion Steam Version is pretty buggy
I'm running the Steam version of Locomotion via Windows 8.1 on a Toshiba C50-B153 Satellite laptop.
CPU = Intel Dual Core N2840 @ 2.16GHz
Graphics = Intel HD4000 (integrated)
After changing compatibility mode to Windows XP service pack 2, Locomotion seems to behave itself for the most part. However, you should save your game frequently, as this Steam version WILL crash often and sometimes for absolutely no reason.
