Landscape appearance.

Post by Greyfox »

Can somebody tell me how to make a scenario map look more "smooth" looking, using MSpaint. I've seen the answer on the forums somewhere. I've performed a search but cannot find it.

any help appreciated. :?:

Cheers!

Edit: (I use MSpaint from Windows 7 Home).

Well MSPaint can be a good tool for simply converting pictures to certain formats but for making maps i prefer and would suggest using a good image editing program such as GIMP or some other program similar that. Good Luck!

Hello Killianbass3,

Well.....I don't use MSpaint to make maps, as you say, they are good for converting pics to a different format. However, this does not answer my question. The answer is on here somewhere, just can't find it.

Thanks for answering my query.

Cheers!

Avoid high color differences at the individual pixels. You know, the color depth is the height. If you're editing the images with a blur tool you get good results. Experiment a little with it. It helps me to make something smooth the maps.

I hope this helps you.
