Music Skipping/Popping

Post by buckysam »

I reinstalled the game on my windows 7 computer and everything is working fine. The only problem is the music will kind of skip/pop a little. I'm not sure why it's doing this. I've tried the force software buffer mixing and it didn't help. I even tried running it without the cd and it didn't help either. Can someone help me? I am on Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

(apologies for the bump...)

I don't know if you have solved your problem or not, but last night I fired up Locomotion and I had this skipping/popping problem.

My circumstances were I had installed an additional hard drive and it started popping. I have the speedometer type widget on my desktop which shows how much CPU and RAM I am using, and I noticed my CPU was struggling, so I took the hard drive out as there was nothing on it and it instantly solved the problem.

So check (if you can) your CPU usage or RAM usage as this could be the root of your problems

Hope this helps :)

@buckysam: After doing a Google search I came up with this, http://corey.degrandchamp.com/2010/11/2 ... -skipping/

Read it carefully and in its entirety. Hopefully it solves your problem.

Cheers :D
