Signal problems

Hi. I have been playing TTD for a long time. Been playing locomotion for a little while. Having signal problems. I understand signal blocks. In the first picture a train is a long way away but the train on top right is still waiting although there are still a couple of signals between. second picture is a couple of seconds later. Not sure why it waits as no signal block.

- Are you sure that all signals in the same direction?
- Drives only the right train not?
- What about the train coming from below?

Yes all signals are same direction
The right lane is going up screen the top right hand lane is going right to left.

The train below is my problem it still has 2 or 3 signals before junction yet all the signals say go and the train on top right is still waiting.

Let me explain further. It works so all signals must be right way. its just the top train wont move if another train coming up the screen is within 3 signals. So there is no signal block it is a simple junction.

x means signal stop
tick means its on go

train A is moving right to left, Train B up screen

Why is signal 1 and 2 on go. 2 should be on go 1 should be on stop so train A can move. Once train B clears top Train A goes but only if another train has not started coming up the screen.

In this instance, it's possible that a full train is allowed to go before an empty one. Otherwise, it's just the random way that the game determines which train should go first.
