So my trains, mostly goods trains, cant seem to figure out how to make a right turn to get from network section A to network section B via a small connecting line.
The result is that they get stuck in half the network, not traveling where they should be going.
And yes there is 3 different ways to go right, so its not the signaling, some trains can do it just fine.
Do i NEED to use way points?
Is locomotion's path finding really that bad?

Yes, unfortunately, the pathfinding is not optimal. A major criticism of this game. It's better if you set waypoints.Sapphire united wrote: Do i NEED to use way points?

You need to set a HELL lot of waypoints - preferably just on every junctions, even !

Re: Trains get lost in complex networks
The whole reason I play with trains is so that I DONT HAVE TO MAKE BOUIES.
And thus begins my loss of interest in locomotion.
I'd move to simutrans, but that crashes alottttttttttttttttttt
