Multiplayer Connectivity Issues

Post by ConrailHeritage »

We're trying to play multi player Locomotion over our home LAN, and we have noticed that every time one of the players purchases a new locomotive, the gam interrupts what we're doing to "transfer data from the other player". This is very annoying...is this normal behavior? If not, any suggestions for how to make multi player work better? Thanks in advance.

Yes, and almost every other engine we purchase makes this happen.

Fix is simple; use EXACTLY the same objdata folder. They have to be identical to avoid this. (Or at least it should be :P)

p.s.: And with identical i mean realy identical; like same trackst.dat modifications and such.
