CRC failed in Data\90s1.dat?

I'm trying to download Locomotion on Windows 7 but eventually it says
Extracting Data\90s1.dat
CRC failed in Data\90s1.dat
Unexpected end of archive

When I'm extracting all of the files. After that you select close and that's it it will not continue, how can I fix this problem?

Where did you download the game from and what program is giving you the error?

Hello Trainlover 2011, Welcome to the forums.

I would suggest that you try to download it from somewhere else, as a CRC error normally refers to a bad cab file. I can't offer any help in regards to Windows 8, as I don't use it.

You could try replacing 90s1.dat. If you are not all that fussed about the music, just re-name 90s2.dat to 90s1.dat, and it should run. Remember to COPY 90s2.dat to rename it.

You can find the music .dat files in 'C:\Program Files\Atari\Locomotion\Data'

Sadly, the song that is broken for you is Techno Torture, and is a really good piece of music.
