Vehicles breakdowns

Post by Horse »

Hello I"am new on this board sorry for my bad Englisch

In the original version of Transport tycoon it was possible to set the breakdowns off i can't find any option to do this.

This system is a big mistake of the game, trains with a age off 7 are complety unuseble.

You cannot turn off breakdowns in Locomotion.

Some trains have worse reliability than others. Have a look when you buy them.

Breakdowns are part of reality. I have sat in a train once that was behind ANOTHER train which had broken down. Eventually we had to unload the train, get in to buses which drove us to the next station where a new train was waiting. Breakdowns are a real pain in the arse when you are in that train hehe....

I always turned it off too, but always felt that was kinda cheating. In RailRoad Tycoon a train could break down beyond repair and then you would have to replace it on the spot.

I'm starting to like Locomotion actually :)

Close-to-reality is correct - but exchanges 78 trams - continue to develop is impossible! :(

It's happening to many times, and it is impossible to maintance your engines, in real life a loc will be 40 year in service.
In Locomotion you must replace the complete engine after 7 or 10 years.

It makes the game unplayeble, you are constant busy to replace and replace
Why is there not a building in the stations that set up the realibylity to the original starting

It is really annoying! Some trains over here are used for over 40years.. on Locomotion trains start breakingdown all the time within months it seems.

Should at least last A LOT longer or be able to service them somehow.. By clicking a button or something :)
