Help - Problem with ski centre & passengers

Post by DeadFish »

I just realised that Im having a problem with the ski centre - I placed the passenger terminus, next to ski centre - I did not see any passengers going to ski centre. Yes, the bus from village, was carrying up to 12 passengers, along the beautiful snowy countryside, to the terminus that was located next to ski, passengers were being dropped off, then nothing. When they were being dropped off, they were back to terminus straight away and waiting for a bus. The graph bar (ski centre) said no passenger per month at all.

did I do something wrong?

maybe the voyage took to long, and the passengers did not pay for the one year trip?

come on, be serious - I am playing locomotion right now - I desperately need some profit from it - I spent a lot of money on building bridges, roads, etc.

I was serious... look most goods can only be transported for a destinctive time, (there is a statistic somewhere in locomotion), and passengers have to be transported fast to make revenues... if that isn't the reason it could also be, that you made a mistake with the 'full load' 'unload' feature, which you shouldn't use with passengers.

Was not a long journey - about 5 secs from a village to the ski centre.

I also got a problem with the cargo and grain - The hopper truck was standing inside the cargo terminal, just next to livestock. The truck was still empty. I set it to ' wait until it is fully loaded'. Nothing happened. The livestock was producing grain. I dont understand. Is it a bug?

It might be that you selected the wrong thing to be fully loaded with, some waggons can take different cargo types. Make sure that you have told it to fully load the kind of cargo you want.

Yep - I realised that. It is working now. Thanks.

But the ski and passengers problem still occurs

Are you sure your not making money?
It is logical that passengers going into the lodge need to get a trip back home. So pick up em and charge them again!

Or it could be that they don't pay until the return trip. I haven't played with any snow yet.
