VS2005 Project File Broken?

Post by Iskai »

I'm getting the following when I try and load the project file from the SVN trunk.

Not too savvy with build targets..

Code: Select all

The following error has occurred during XML parsing:

File: C:\Documents and Settings\iskai\Desktop\src\OpenTTD\head\openttd_vs80.vcproj
Line: 20
Column: 4
Error Message:
Custom build rules file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults\masm64.rules' was not found or failed to load.
The file 'C:\Documents and Settings\iskai\Desktop\src\OpenTTD\head\openttd_vs80.vcproj' has failed to load.
Used to work fine straight out of SVN.

Ah, I didn't spot 'masm64.rules' in the same directory. Copying that to

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\VCProjectDefaults
seems to have fixed it. Not sure why I need 64 bit stuff to load the project on a 32-bit system though.
