Station templates for modular stations

I use some of the modular (train) stations that have been created for openttd. Let's say that I create a station using those modules and I want to re-use that layout. Would it be possible to "save" that station as a template and just place it again without re-creating it?

Nope, or at least not yet. There is a patch (several, actually) known as cut & paste which would allow that, but it's not fully developed and the OpenTTD devs are not interested in implementing it for various reasons.
