1. Disable displaying the game scoring screen in 2050, for those who aren't competing against AIs or multiplayer.

2. New option to set the game's end year for extended play or early termination, defaults to 2050.

Huge fan of this idea - often I just use the cheats to advance the year to 2050 just to get a score for my game. That being said, as more and more graphics sets increase vehicles from the modern (present day) era and beyond, there's less need to bring it forward, perhaps some people would still want to push it back (2075, 2100 maybe).

There aren't many NewGRFs that enable improvement beyond 2050.

How about options to change how things are scored?
(Is Purple Pruntfield really no more accomplished a company than the competitors of which it owns 75% and can buy out the remainder of for a small fraction of its bank balance?)
