Common infrastructure
I think it'd be good if companies could share tracks, stations, airports etc. like they commonly are in real life, and then the load will be sent to the more attractive service. It would be a permission based system, so if you wanted someone off your track, you choose. Or you could have a fee. This idea could probably be developed into something more substantial, but I feel it would really add an element of competition not before seen

Re: Common infrastructure
Are you a new player or just new to the forums?
If you're a new player, I'd recommend playing the unpatched game without A.I.'s 'till you learn the ropes.
If you are an experienced player then you might enjoy these Patch Packs. They add Infrastructure Sharing plus a whole lot more.....

I can't run a saved game ATM. How about a couple of screenshots instead?

Re: Common infrastructure
Great Stuff! It seemed strange to me looking at the map and seeing only one colour/company. I usually play with many A.I.'s so my maps end up looking like a jumbled mess.
Back on topic, I always use Infrastructure sharing as part of one patchpack or another, and join tracks of different companies, rationalizing and tidying up the mess A.I.'s can make, and redirecting A.I. trains over foreign tracks.
