Hey there, I had a thought,

Wouldn't it be awesome to have a group of people working on a map at a time?

Actually it is impossible,I think.

Scenario editor has no company so just 1 player could join it.

Multiple players can join 1 company already. Cooperative play is very popular style of playing OpenTTD.

I'm not sure about "awesome" part, but I can see how this can be fun or beneficial or both. :)

So why don't arguments in a multiplayer game stop it from happening? Personally, I think a multiplayer scenario editor would be useful

Creating scenarios could become a lot easier, and probably more fun, if you worked with others on them

Agreed - and much like most other types of work, dividing the labor could make the task less tedious. Players could focus on editing different regions, or one player could focus on industries while another crafts the towns, etc.
