New slopes - 90 degrees wall

Post by Nem »

Hi, will OpenTTD support 90 degrees slopes in the future?
In the picture I've manipulated a terrain to better explain my suggestion.

This could be usefull in cities where you can realize underground station wasting less tiles than now.

You can already achieve this by building tracks and removing them afterwards using the remoce tool instead of demolish.

@VPN: No you can't. Nem wants to be able to lower those 12 squares WITHOUT affecting the surrounding squares.

@Nem: This probably won't happen. Consider what it would look like to see a train driving into a tunnel in one of those walls.

hmm.. this suggestion reminds me of RCT raising land style.. but I like it.. I wanna have those interesting "canals without water" type of land and lay my tracks through them. :P

I see, the wall is too short. But what about lowering twice?
