I figure out that I can't change the year, money etc in OTTD ( but possible in TTD patch ). Can this be implemented ( should be simple I think )?

Start OpenTTD with "ttd -t " and a date to use a different starting date. Notice that the date is the number of days since 1920 (I think). There is also a money cheat in OpenTTD but it's not documented because... well... it's a cheat!

the -t switch accepts 3 different formats...
yyyy
yyyymm
yyyymmdd

There is a money cheat but it is only there for testing purposes. I would not recommend looking for it as it spoils the idea of the game.
