This folder is used exclusively by OpenTTD for content downloaded via the in-game content download service (BaNaNaS). It should be found in the shared directory that your computer's operating system designates (see OpenTTD documentation for more details). If you're downloading items from TT-Forums or other sites, DO NOT install them in content_download. Instead, install them in the appropriate folder (ai, newgrf, scripts, heighmaps, scenarios).
